Join Us in Building the Brand New Library at Mino Mikan Elementary School! 
We’re thrilled to announce Mino Mikan’s very first Book Drive, and we need your help to fill the library shelves with stories that inspire and educate. We’re looking for new or gently used books in English or French that meet the following criteria:

Published after 1990;

Books that are appropriate for the Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6 age groups;

Books that do not depict any stereotypes;
-
Books that are culturally appropriate and representative of our diverse community; and
-
Any Indigenous books need to be written by Indigenous authors.
Donation Dates: January 13th – January 31st 2025
Drop Off Locations: If you have books to donate, please send them to school with your child / children; each class has a donation box to collect the books. If you would like to take the books directly to the school, there will be drop-off boxes located beside the Administration Office.
